Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of Fabplane, including fabplane.com, the studio at app.fabplane.com, related APIs, and desktop software such as Fabdesk (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by TensorFleet (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Fabplane is a Git-native hardware-design platform. We publish public catalogs, documentation, and project pages, and we provide tools for designing, versioning, and manufacturing hardware. Features may change, and some parts of the Service may be preview, local-only, or unavailable in production.

Accounts

Some features require an account. You may sign in with GitHub, Google, or (where we enable it) email and password. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials and connected provider access secure. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is abused, compromised, or used in breach of these terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of hardware designs, documentation, and other material you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and distribute Your Content as needed to operate the Service — for example to render boards, generate public project pages you publish, or store artifacts you upload.

If you mark a project public, you understand that selected metadata, links, and renderings may be shown on the public site and in catalogs. You must have the rights needed to publish that material and to grant the license above.

Public catalog and third-party material

System pages, mods, wiki articles, and catalog photographs may include third-party projects, freely licensed photos, and community documentation. Those works remain under their original licenses. We do not claim ownership of third-party hardware or trademarks. Photo attribution is listed on Photo credits.

Software and downloads

Desktop installers and update feeds are provided as-is for supported platforms. You are responsible for verifying that a download is appropriate for your system. Preview or unsigned builds may be unstable. Open-source components included with the Service remain under their own licenses.

Hardware and manufacturing

Designs, wiki guides, and manufacturing files are educational and informational. Building, fabricating, or modifying hardware is at your own risk. We do not warrant that a design is manufacturable, safe, regulatory-compliant, or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for electrical safety, certifications, and any damage to equipment.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that public catalog data is complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TensorFleet and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or hardware, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars if you paid nothing.

Changes

We may update these terms as the Service changes. The updated date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
