What you’ll do
- Own schematic capture and PCB layout for new hardware and revisions.
- Bring up prototypes: power, clocks, high-speed interfaces, and peripherals.
- Write clear fab packages, BOMs, and manufacturing notes for production runs.
- Debug boards with scopes, logic analyzers, and bench equipment onsite.
- Collaborate with firmware and product on constraints, pinouts, and revisions.
- Document designs so the team can version, review, and ship in the open.
What we’re looking for
- Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on schematic and PCB design experience (KiCad preferred).
- Comfortable with lab bring-up: soldering, probing, and iterative debug.
- Solid fundamentals: power integrity, signal integrity, and EMC basics.
- Able to work onsite in Bangkok full time.
- Clear written English for design notes and manufacturing handoff.
Nice to have
- Experience with Raspberry Pi HATs, LVDS/display interfaces, or FPGA-adjacent boards.
- Familiarity with JLCPCB / PCBA flows and DFM for small production runs.
- Prior work on open-source or publicly documented hardware projects.
- Basic firmware literacy (C or Python) for bring-up scripts and test fixtures.
